Our story began in 1974 when our founder, Steve Kohl, started doing janitor work and carpet cleaning at night for Jerry's Janitor Service in Moses Lake, WA. After graduating from college, Steve met his wife Desiree, and they moved to Lewiston, Idaho, where he started his flying career. However, he eventually returned to Moses Lake and started a janitor/carpet cleaning business with his wife in 1980. In 1982, Steve became the owner of Jerry's Janitor business and renamed it "Rainbow Carpet Cleaning."
