At Red Bank Cleaners, our story begins in the 1970s when the Choi family immigrated to the United States from South Korea. With nothing but $16, grit, and the promise of the American dream, founder Chang Nam Choi - affectionately known as "Mr. Choi" to our customers - wanted a better life and education for his family. Mr. Choi, a seventh-degree black belt in a time before taekwondo was popular, opened Red Bank Cleaners as a means of providing for his family. Mr. Choi was known to his customers for his boisterous laugh and strong-willed spirit.
Today, Red Bank Cleaners is a family-owned and operated business that has been serving the community for over 30 years. We pride ourselves on our hard work, integrity, and relationship with our customers. In 2002, Mr. Choi's daughter Anna and son-in-law Paul took over management and transformed the business to reflect changing technology and environmental conservation.
Our Team
Anna, a second-generation owner and operator, has been working at Red Bank Cleaners since her father started the business in 1989. She has decades of expertise in ensuring that your garments have the highest quality care. In her free time, she enjoys reading and spending time with her two kids and Shih Tzu, Teddy.
Paul, the business and financial manager, has been with Red Bank Cleaners since 2002. He is committed to delivering quality care and service to each customer. When not working, Paul likes cooking, home renovation projects, and spending time with his family.
