Commercial Kitchen Cleaners (CKC) is a family-owned business with a rich history dating back to 1976. Founded by Lionel Smith, CKC has been serving the Washington D.C. area with unparalleled expertise and dedication to quality service. Our company's roots are deeply entrenched in the kitchen hood and equipment cleaning industry, and we take great pride in our long-standing reputation for excellence.

Lionel Smith, a visionary in the industry, was committed to providing top-notch service and advocated for change and enforcement of existing laws and standards. His efforts led to the establishment of the International Kitchen Exhaust Cleaners Association (IKECA) in 1989, of which he became a lifetime member in 2007. Although Lionel passed away in 2008, his legacy lives on through CKC's continued commitment to quality service and professionalism.

In 1998, friends and business associates took over the company when Lionel's health began to decline. They continued to uphold CKC's commitment to quality service. In 2015, Chuck Mongiello and Matt Mongiello of Mongiello Brothers LLC became the current owners, bringing their extensive industry knowledge and experience to maintain CKC's tradition of family business service and professionalism.
