At Bluewater Carpet, we are proud to be led by Carolina Beach native, Travis Koontz. Together with wife, Brittany, and their little girl, they call the Wilmington area home and are dedicated to serving families and businesses in the Port City area. In 2017, Travis and Brittany became foster parents, actively partnering with the local foster care community to provide care and safety to children during times of crisis.

As a family, they enjoy spending time on the boat and at the beach, surrounded by their three dogs, and their often-messy household provides ample opportunities to put their carpet cleaning skills to the test! Travis, a UNCW graduate, founded Bluewater during his senior year in college and, since then, has been committed to providing first-class services that create healthy and comfortable living and working spaces.

Certified by the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration, Travis continually updates his knowledge and skills through research, continuous education, and the latest technology and tools. As a team, we are dedicated to handling each job with a personal approach, delivering exceptional service, and producing impeccable work. • Residential Carpet & Area Rug Cleaning

We use a truck-mounted hot water extraction system (steam cleaning) to deliver superior cleanliness. We will discuss your carpets and surfaces to address any concerns and needs, then pre-treat stains, materials, or high-traffic areas with custom solutions. We'll then steam, agitate, and vacuum simultaneously, followed by a final vacuum pass to remove the maximum amount of moisture. Upon completion, your carpets will be damp to the touch but will dry quickly, leaving them deeply clean and looking like new.

• Upholstery Cleaning

Using the same care and attention as our carpet cleaning services, we will inspect and assess your upholstery before applying custom solutions to treat stains, materials, and high-traffic areas. We will then use our powerful steam cleaning equipment to loosen and remove dirt, debris, and stains from your upholstery. Upon completion, your upholstery will be slightly damp but will dry quickly, leaving it fresh, clean, and revitalized.

This process includes a pre-treatment, scrubbing, and hot water extraction, followed by a thorough rinse and dry.
