Saliba's Rug Cleaners is a family-owned and operated business that has been serving the Bangor, ME community for over 70 years. We take pride in our deep cleaning, in-plant cleaning, repairs, and urine treatment services for all types of rugs. Our History

Saliba's Rug Cleaners started as a rug cleaning company in 1950, located in a 138-year-old building on the historic downtown Bangor waterfront. Sam Saliba owned the company and then sold the cleaning department in 1978 to Conrad Karam and the late Laurie J. Karam. Today, Saliba's is being run by Conrad and Laurie's children, who continue the legacy of providing top-notch rug cleaning and repair services.

In 2021, Saliba's Rug Cleaners moved to a new location at 69 Hillside Ave, Bangor, ME 04401, where we continue to offer our services to the community.

At Saliba's Rug Cleaners, we offer a range of services to keep your rugs looking and feeling their best.

• Deep Cleaning: Our deep cleaning process involves soaking your rug in a bath, shampooing, rinsing, and drying it in a humidity-controlled dry room. This service is not available for all types of rugs.
• In-Plant Cleaning: We offer in-plant cleaning for any oriental rugs in Bangor, Maine. Our team will carefully clean your rugs at our facility to ensure a thorough and professional cleaning.
• Repairs: Our team is highly skilled in repairing and conserving many types of carpets. We offer services such as carpet binding, new fringe installation, new pad cutting, and wrapping to ensure that your rugs are well-maintained.
• Urine Treatment: If your rugs have been soiled by pets, we offer urine treatment to break down urine proteins and eliminate odors. Please note that we cannot guarantee the complete removal of all stains and odors.
• Commercial and Residential Carpet Cleaning: We offer both commercial and residential carpet cleaning services. For commercial customers, we provide on-location steam carpet cleaning services, while residential customers can take advantage of our in-home steam carpet and upholstery cleaning services.
