At Highland Pro Clean, we are proud to be a family-owned and operated business with a rich history dating back to 1978. Our journey began when Kenneth Johansen founded the company with a passion for providing quality residential cleaning services. Unfortunately, Ken was diagnosed with cancer in 2011, and he had to pass on the reins to his son, Andrew. Ken's determination to recover led him to undergo Gerson Therapy, and he eventually went into remission.

Andrew, with his extensive experience and training in window cleaning, gutter cleaning, and applied microbial growth, has been steering the company since 2011. His dedication to providing exceptional cleaning services has earned him a strong reputation in the community.

Meet Our Team

• Andrew Johansen, Owner/Operator: Born and raised in Newland, NC, Andrew has over 30 years of experience in the cleaning industry. He is dedicated to delivering exceptional results and personalized service.
• Jael Johansen, Office Manager/Cleaning Technician: Hailing from Green Lane, PA, Jael has been an essential part of the team since she was 15 years old. Her experience and expertise complement Andrew's, ensuring seamless customer service.
• Kade Johansen, Cleaning Technician: Kade is Andrew and Jael's 16-year-old son, who will be joining the team as a full-time cleaning technician in the 2024 season.

Changes for the Better

Effective July 2020, we will no longer provide carpet, rug, or upholstery cleaning services. We highly recommend Bush Carpet Cleaning in Blowing Rock, NC for your textile cleaning needs.

Note: We will be closed for the 2023 season, starting from December 1st. We will re-open on Monday, April 1, 2024.
