Scamming and Price Gouging
Several reviewers have reported experiencing scams and price gouging at VIP Cleaners. The most common complaints include being overcharged for services, being charged extra fees for minor alterations, and being charged for services that were not completed. For example, Author Michael Voegelie was charged over $150 for a service that simply involved storing his suede jackets for two weeks. Author McKaila Vaughn was charged $120 for dry cleaning three casual dresses that retailed for less than $100 each. Author Barb Callahan was charged $95 for simply pressing a jump suit and a dress, while Author Sharae Jones was quoted an outrageous $120 to hem a pair of pants and was unhappy with the result.
