Our Story

Dixie Cleaners was first established by Wyman Hutto, a Purple Heart recipient who returned from World War II with a dream to own a business in his hometown of Holly Hill, South Carolina. The business flourished, and in 1970, Wyman opened a retail store and plant at its present location. In 1985, Wyman sold the business to his stepson, Robert and Mary Mims. In 2019, the business was sold again, with Nick and Raj Patel bringing years of business and customer service expertise to the table. With their vision for improvement and reinvestment, Dixie Cleaners has continued to thrive.
